Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In is a high-performance waterproofing treatment for breathable rainwear. It renews the garment’s Durable Water Repellency—or DWR—helping rain bead and roll away instead of soaking into the outer fabric.

When waterproof clothing begins to absorb water, it can feel heavy, cold and clammy, while its breathability may be significantly reduced. TX.Direct adds water repellency to the individual fibres without blocking the movement of moisture vapour, helping your clothing remain waterproof, breathable and comfortable.

Suitable for Gore‑Tex®, Sympatex®, eVent®, Nikwax Analogy® and other breathable waterproof fabrics, it develops its water-repellent finish through air drying—no heat activation or tumble drying is required. The water-based formula is PFAS-free and non-flammable.

How to use in a washing machine:

1. Clean the detergent drawer thoroughly to remove conventional detergent residue.

2. Wash the garment first using Nikwax Tech Wash in a separate cycle.

3. Leave the clean garment in the machine and shake the TX.Direct bottle before use.

4. Use 100ml per garment, treating no more than two garments at once.

5. Select a normal warm or cool wash with a slow spin, adding an extra rinse if available.

6. Air dry, or tumble dry on a low setting only when permitted by the garment’s care label.

Do not use conventional detergent or fabric conditioner, as these can leave residues that attract water and impair performance. Always check the garment manufacturer’s care instructions before treatment.
